Custom Furniture Designs

Designing custom furniture for our customers give us a great deal of satisfaction. We can take simple sketches on napkins or a photo of a conventional piece of furniture and custom design just for you.  If you saw something in a store or magazine, we can recreate those ideas into a unique heirloom quality furniture design that is truly one of a kind.

Many of the products we feature are designs that were inspired by our own customers! There is no additional charge for our design services. Here is an example of a customer's desire to have a three section armoire for their living room. They wanted media storage below the open shelves to display family photos.

We had a customer who wanted custom log furniture that would fit into his home currently under construction.  He provided some detailed plans of cabinet wall units that he originally planned to install.  We took the dimensions of the room and cabinets and created a completely custom designed log furniture wall unit. Every piece was designed to fit together.  We were a little worried making so much furniture for a home that wasn’t even built yet, but it turned out great.  The customer was very pleased with the results. We personally delivered the items and had planned to install them, but their floors were being finished and the floor crew put it all together without any instructions!

Pictured below is a design that was created by using our large 72” Buffet as the base unit and a custom “hutch” that our customer wanted for a small TV and VCR as well as some shelf space.  She wanted a matching log mirror that was designed with a curved top log to match the hutch trim. This furniture is being used in a bedroom. We also built a small entry table for her. She uses it in her room to work on her computer. It is now one of our designs called the “Hat Creek” entry table!  It is a lot of fun to be involved with our customers in the design process.
